🌿 I’m Back in Colorado — Massage Is Open Again
Dear Friends,
After a long, wild, beautiful chapter—I’m coming home.
🌿 Akasha is alive, and back in Colorado 🌿
Some of you know that I made the difficult decision to close my practice at the end of 2024. What began as a dream—a thriving massage studio, a beautiful expansion, a vision of something bigger—ultimately became unsustainable. In trying to hold it all, I lost parts of myself.
What followed was a full-body, full-life collapse: mental, physical, internal, and external.
But that unraveling gave me clarity. It stripped away the noise and left me with what really matters:
✨ Simplicity
✨ Connection
✨ The quiet magic that happens when we slow down and let ourselves be cared for
Now, I’m rebuilding—not to grow bigger, but to go deeper.
✨New Colorado Schedule
I’ll be offering limited massage sessions in Colorado beginning in July, with the following availability:
Every other week: (starting 7/7/25)
Tue, Wed, & Thurs
One weekend per month (TBD)
Appointments are limited and tend to fill quickly, so early booking is encouraged. I’m keeping the schedule intentionally small for now to preserve the kind of care that’s slow, sacred, and deeply attuned.

💔 What Happened?
This part is hard to write—but it matters.
At the end of 2024, in the heart of the holiday season, I closed Akasha.
The end was abrupt. It was violent. It was devastating
Behind the scenes, my life and health were unraveling in a way I could no longer outrun. What followed was a complete mental, physical, internal, and external collapse. I didn’t leave Colorado with a plan—I left with a scream in my throat and my nervous system on fire.
I didn’t want to go.
I didn’t want to disappear.
But I had to save my own life.
That meant walking away from everything I loved:
💔 My business.
💔 My house.
💔 My clients.
💔 My community.
💔 Even, for a time, my child.
I had to let it all burn so I could survive the fire.
In order to reclaim my mental and physical health, I had to completely log out. I changed my phone number. I turned off every notification. I became unreachable—for six months of darkness, grief, and healing.
I know that left some of you with confusion, concern, and for some, frustration.
I know it looked like I vanished.
I want you to know: I haven’t forgotten.
Not for a moment.
If you were a client, a friend, or a supporter—I see you.
And I’m here now, doing the work to rebuild with integrity, presence, and the honesty that only comes from breaking open.
🌱 Why I’m Returning Now
Because I’ve been to the edge—and I came back with clarity.
Because healing isn’t linear, and neither is rebuilding.
Because I finally feel strong enough to return not just to the work, but to myself.
And because I miss this community with my whole heart.
I’m returning not to pick up where I left off—but to create something truer. Slower. Simpler.
A version of Akasha that serves us all.
Let’s begin again.
If You Hold a Gift Certificate
If you still hold an Akasha gift certificate, please know it is still valid. I’m committed to honoring what I can, as I rebuild. While I may not be able to offer refunds at this time due to the tremendous financial losses I incurred last year, I will do everything possible to make it right—through sessions, product credit, or case-by-case resolution.
Your grace and understanding during this transition means more than I can express. If you're holding a certificate and aren't sure what to do, please email me directly at akasha.jenn@gmail.com or fill out this short form:
💜 From My Heart to Yours
Whether you’ve seen me before or you’re brand new to Akasha, I want you to know:
This space is for you if you’re tired. If you’re rebuilding. If you’re grieving, growing, or just ready to reconnect with your own body.
I’m so deeply grateful to the clients who carried me through the last few years—and to the ones just now finding me.
✨ Let’s begin again.
✨ Let’s keep it simple.
✨ Let’s come home.
With love and gratitude,
Jenn

While I was unplugged from life, someone - somewhere was so thoughtful to poach my domain name. Despite continued efforts and proof that akashamassage.com has belonged to me for 4 years, I’ve been unsuccessful at regaining ownership.

I closed Akasha at the end of 2024 after a total collapse of my health—mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual. I had to log out of everything, change my number, and become unreachable in order to survive. It was never my intention to leave people in the dark. I’m rebuilding now, with deep gratitude and full integrity. You can read more here if you want the full story.

Yes. Several generous clients have chosen to release their gift certificates as a way to support Akasha’s return. You can opt to do this in the form linked above. Your support, in any form, means more than words can express.

Absolutely. As you may or may not know, Akasha was very involved on a local level. a “give back” fund and a portion of every dollar made put directly back into the local community. Akash was very involved on the local level helping a variety of businesses & individuals in various situations of need. It feels surreal to momentarily be on the other side.
There are many ways to support this next chapter of Akasha besides booking a service. We will soon have an online store with some of the previous retail product and a few new things as well.
Additionally you can find me on a variety of social media outlets (substack, tiktok, etc) under the handle “Akasha does Alchemy” where I will be sharing Akasha’s story and bringing you along for the rebirth.
Sharing, encouraging, or simply holding space matters too.
