Sasha turns 18 🎉

Hello Sasha Birthday Squad!

I’m using a hidden page on my business website to deliver this info, as it seemed the most efficient way get it to all of you on such short notice. Rolling in fashionably late, per usual. Tuesday the 9th is Sasha’s 18th, and I would love for her to feel truly seen this year.

The short story

  • Sasha is heavily grieving the end of her childhood and I’d love to help her lock in a positive, memorable transition into adulthood.

  • Zehn is flying in to surprise her for the day (shh!). We’re doing a small Project Sekai / More More Jump–themed surprise party with the four of us and then…

  • 18 Days of Birthday: Sept 9–26 with big and tiny surprises along the way.

  • Sasha has her first solo trip planned, and then we are surprising her with a Meow Wolf Tour in Santa Fe, Houston, Dallas and Denver.

  • We are turning the house into a Sasha Museum (keepsakes, photos, memories).

  • I’m compiling “Life Advice” and “Thing’s I wish I’d known at 18”. and would love to have your best (and worst) wisdom to add to the book.

  • Her actual birthday is Tuesday, but since we are stretching it out for 18 days late notes & gifts are still great.

2) Trip fund (secret)
She’s paying for her first solo trip and while she has done a GREAT job working and saving, she is still a bit anxious about having enough money. If you want to help, you can send to Sasha’s Venmo - or mine, both listed below. We set up her account a couple years ago for a specific reason and I don’t think she’s used it since so it should remain a secret if you send directly to her.

3) Gift ideas
Her master wishlist is heavy on rare/pricey anime imports (read: tariffs, shipping, who knows if it arrives). She worked hard on it, so I’ll share it HERE for y’all to see what Sasha is into these days. However, after scouring the internet - most of these items are gridlocked offshore. To save you all time, and make things a bit easier, I created a simpler Amazon list of the accessible items, tagged by priority.

One last request for the kiddos (super easy)

Sasha loves drawings/art. It would be lovely if you could ask her cousins to create a personalized one of a kind art piece. It does not have to be hand drawn, digital creations are welcome. PLEASE NO AI GENERATED IMAGES THOUGH (There are few things that trigger Sash more than “stolen” computer art).

Here are a few ideas to spark creativity.

  • Draw Sasha as an anime character (Her favorite characters are Shizuki, Minori, Airi & Miku from Project Sekai, More More Jump. She has cosplayed Miku many times.

  • “Don’t forget….” Illustrate the best part of being a kid.

  • “Design Sasha’s soul gem” (color + power).
    Her favorite color is purple.

  • “Draw Sasha as a magical girl with her sidekick cat.”
